For me, leadership is about a number of components that must interact in order for you to be able to lead with great results and energized employees. Some important processes I focus on in my leadership programs:

My methods

To help leaders develop better skills, I work with methods such as DISC, Situational Leadership (SLII) and FIRO (Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation). I combine these methods (and others) with my own experience to get the best results.

I work with different methods such as SPIN Selling, Meta Sales, Challenger Sale, the Cicero method and the Harvard method to get my participants to, based on the program's methods, as well as their own experience and conditions, build the sales process that is right for me.

However, there are two processes that are absolutely crucial to how successful you will be. For me, these processes have always been the most important in the whole company.

1. Needs analysis: Becoming the best at needs analysis builds your success - by understanding the customer's real needs, you can offer the customer the best solution - and provide the real customer value.

2. Customer alignment: How do I get the customer to understand and remember what I'm presenting, what support and what kind of rhetoric do I need to use to lead the customer to a close, and how do I assess the customer's buying maturity? What are strategic customer meetings and how do I keep the momentum going when the sales process drags on? I teach that and much more in my sales programs.

Communication as a tool – from leaders to salespeople and other key functions is to greatly improve efficiency and results – why? Because if we communicate based on the needs of our surroundings, conflicts are avoided and understanding is built – and in this way the focus is on what is actually to be done, and not on differences of opinion, which in the vast majority of cases are rooted in misunderstandings – because we communicate differently.

In my programs, I work with an understanding of how you meet people who are task-oriented in a slightly different way than people who are more relationship-oriented. How we avoid triggering people who are very driven, and how we get people who are more thoughtful to get started.

I work with methods such as DISC, Cicero's rhetoric curve and Aristotle's rhetorical principles. My participants practice throughout our time together refining how they rhetorically meet their surroundings, build and deliver presentations that stick and negotiate profitable deals – that, and much more.

Do you or your team sometimes feel fragmented, mentally tired, or stuck in thought patterns that limit performance and results? It's rarely a problem of competence - it's a problem of constantly being "connected".

Many people I meet see recovery as something you do after performance. I see recovery as an active part of improved performance and better results.

In my programs, we work with methods from mental training and sports psychology - not to "de-stress", but to systematically increase the ability to perform over time.
